The Hedge High Back Lounge Chair
Designed 2017
With the Hedge High Back Lounge Chair, we sought to design a chair that provides a bit of privacy in open settings. Because of the inherent size needed to create a private space, it was important to make the chair feel light and airy. We accomplished this with a thin steel frame wrapped in upholstery fabric. Subtle curves appear as the stretched fabric breaks across the contours of the hidden frame. This construction strategy also made it easy to extend Hedge’s surround upwards to shelter you from unwanted noise and distractions. Hedge can offer refuge without dominating the room.

'Ready to Ship' items will be dispatched to you within 2-5 business days. Other designs may ship from Blu Dot HQ in the USA with a 12 week lead time. We will notify you if the item you have selected is out of stock.
Your order will be delivered to your door via courier or furniture mover depending on your location and the overall order size. We will contact you in advance to co-ordinate a suitable delivery day and time.
Inside delivery and assembly is available to most capital cities at an additional charge upon request.
